Roger Milla désigné meilleur joueur des 50 dernières années en Afrique

L`ancien international camerounais Roger Milla a été désigné "meilleur joueur" d`Afrique des 50 dernières années au terme d`un sondage organisé par la Confédération africaine de football, a annoncé la CAF dimanche

RABAT (AFP) - L`ancien international camerounais Roger Milla a été désigné "meilleur joueur" d`Afrique des 50 dernières années au terme d`un sondage organisé par la Confédération africaine de football, a annoncé la CAF dimanche.
"Avec 2246 voix, les internautes de la CAF ont choisi la légende Camerounaise Roger Milla comme meilleur joueur de la période 1957-2007", a indiqué la Confédération africaine sur son site internet.
Ce sondage a été récemment organisé dans le cadre des "festivités marquant le cinquantenaire de la CAF", a ajouté l`organisation.
Roger Milla a devancé les Egyptiens Mahmoud El Khatib (2165 voix) et Hossam Hassan (2011).
Le Camerounais Samuel Eto`o, une des vedettes du FC Barcelone occupe quant à lui la 4e place (1840 voix) devant le Ghanéen Abedi Pelé (1783 voix).
Le premier joueur maghrébin du sondage est l`Algérien Rabah Madjer, 9e avec 1176 points. Il est suivi de très loin par les Marocains, Noureddine Naybet et Mohamed Timouni, respectivement à la 17e et 23e place.
